It’s never too early to start preparing for your future. High school graduates have the opportunity to enroll in various safety certifications that can help them jump-start their careers.
At NASP, we are committed to providing training built for and by safety professionals. We offer two exams to help high school graduates gain certifications — the Master Safety Professional (MSP) and Certified Safety Director (CSD) exams.
Our Safety Certification Routes
If you have your high school diploma, you can begin establishing your credibility as a safety professional. One of the best ways to do that is through certification. Whether you plan on pursuing a career within a company, nonprofit or government organization, many will either prefer or require that you have a certification from a recognized program. Obtaining one sooner rather than later can help you prepare to enter the workforce upon graduation.
Another benefit of obtaining safety certification is that it will increase your earning potential. Certifications show that you are committed to ongoing learning and training. Employers will see that you have knowledge, skills, and abilities that often translate to a higher salary.
Gain Certification With the MSP and CSD Exams
At NASP, we take a practical approach to workplace safety. Students gain the hands-on knowledge and skills needed to confidently carry out safety-related tasks and functions.
Individuals that meet the following eligibility requirements are qualified to sit for the MSP and CSD exams:
- Passing a rigorous exam
