Personnel working with electricity on worksites are exposed to the risk of injury or death due to improper handling of electrical currents. To prevent these avoidable accidents, OSHA and NFPA have developed and enforced a standard for safety requirements when working with electricity.

Electrical safety specialists ensure personnel understand the hazards of electrical elements in a workplace, enforcing the necessary regulations and training others to prevent incidents. Enroll in the electrical safety training program from The National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP) to get the training you need for maintaining electrically safe work conditions.
