Whether you work in oil and gas, governmental work, the construction industry, or the general industry, having the right certifications can help you gain a competitive edge. While many programs will require that you have advanced degrees, NASP offers certifications for professionals with an associate degree.
Routes to Certification
Obtaining certification is one of the best ways to establish credibility within your industry. Our Master Safety Professional (MSP) and Certified Safety Director (CSD) programs are built for and by safety professionals.
No matter what safety industry you’re involved in, these two routes to certification can help establish your professional credibility. Throughout your chosen program, you’ll learn new techniques and skills to better prepare you for developing and implementing comprehensive safety management systems.
When you can show that you have additional training and certification, you’ll gain a competitive advantage in your industry. Many companies and organizations prefer or even require that individuals hold certifications from recognized programs.
Along with showing that you are qualified and committed to industry standards, obtaining either the MSP or CSD certification can help increase your earning potential. When you invest in your ongoing learning and training, many companies will take notice and reward that.
Our Certification Exams
Even if you don’t have an advanced degree, you can qualify to sit for the MSP and CSD exams based on your years of experience and industry knowledge. Along with meeting the eligibility requirements for each exam, you must:
- Pass a rigorous exam
- Meet the recertification requirements
