California governor Gavin Newsom has signed AB-701, which takes effect January 1st, 2022, a new bill that is aiming to regulate productivity quotas in the warehousing industry. The law will require companies to have transparency around productivity quotas. Although Amazon was not specifically named, it is believed that they were the target of this new law.
