At The National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP), our Aerial and Scissor Lift Specialist online course helps operators understand the safety concerns associated with lifts and how to remain safe while operating the machinery.

ASLS Course Description

NASP’s online aerial lift safety training course provides students with the information they need to stay safe with and around aerial and scissor lifts. This 8-hour course provides specialized, interactive training that exceeds OSHA standards and maximizes worksite safety.

The online ASLS course covers the following:

  • Types of aerial and scissor lifts
  • Risks of improper aerial and scissor lift use
  • Basic OSHA safety standards
  • Pre- and post-use inspection procedures
  • Detailed safe-use operations and safety precautions
  • Continuing Education Units

    (0.80) CEUs are offered for this course. As an IACET Accredited Provider, NASP offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard. CEUs will be reflected on the Certificate upon successful completion of the course and passing the exam. Partial credit or adjusted CEUs will not be awarded for individuals who do not successfully meet the criteria for achievement of CEUs.

  • Online Exams

    The student will take a comprehensive online exam at the end of the course. You must score 80% to receive a certificate. You have two opportunities to pass the exam.

  • Recertification

    A refresher course and exam will be required every three (3) years. The cost of this recertification is $95.
