Craig Bellew – Examination Committee Chair
Mr. Craig Bellew currently serves as Director, Corporate EHS for Airtek Construction and is responsible for developing strategies to improve the company’s overall safety performance in its drive toward zero injuries. A NASP Certified Safety Manager and Master Safety Professional, Craig has 18 years of environmental, health and safety experience, having served in both EHS and frontline management positions. He holds a BS in Occupational Safety from Valdosta State and is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and National Safety Council. In 2010 Craig was named to the NSC’s “Top 40 under 40” for up and coming Safety Professionals for his work on the Darling Downs Combined Cycle Power Project in Queensland, Australia.
Michael Anastasio – Examination Committee Vice Chair
Mr. Michael Anastasio is the Environmental Health and Safety Site Manager for Suez WTS with a focus on transforming business and instilling a work culture based on safety. As a Licensed Safety Professional, Authorized OSHA Trainer, Certified HAZWOPER and Forklift Trainer, and a Confined Space Specialist, Michael boasts much experience with writing and implementing EHS training documents and EHS programs. He graduated with a BS in Biology and is currently working on his MS in Safety Science.
Kyle Weygandt
Mr. Kyle Weygandt presently serves as the Director of Member Safety for American Municipal Power, a part-time Solution Provider Professor at Ohio State University, and a part-time Captain Police Officer with the Magnolia, Ohio Police Department. As a Licensed Safety Professional, investigator, and educator, he supervises and directs a safety team that provides OSHA / PERRPS / BWC / EPA safety compliance and training for each member community.
His duties include but are not limited to providing OSHA / PERRP safety audits, accident investigation, OSHA safety training, certifications, EPA training hours, BWC safety programs, First Aid/CPR training, and provide (OSHA 10 and 30 Cards) for all applicable employees to ensure compliance. With over 30 years of safety, law enforcement, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of training employees at the college, city, and state level, Kyle has successfully supported safety in many different sectors.
Wagdi Fouad Seffain
Mr. Wagdi Seffain is the Safety & Occupational Health Instructor at the Engineering & Science Services at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and he is the Managing Director of the Environmental Health & Safety Academy located in Cairo and Dubai. As a safety trainer, Wagdi is highly dedicated to training in OHS regulations, and has taught thousands of students a variety of safety courses. These include the prestigious NASP / IASP Certified Safety Manager Course, NASP / IASP Advanced Safety & Health Diploma as well as a variety of oil and gas related specialist courses. In addition, he is a Certified Trainer from the Scaffold Training Institute, Certified Trainer from NTS (National Training Services) in the UK, a Certified Trainer from the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) in the US, and a Certified Safety Trainer from IOSH-UK.
Charles C. Raziano
Charles C. Raziano, CUSP, CSM, CST, is currently the Director of Health and Safety for Gannett Fleming PDC. He is responsible for the overall management of Health & Safety for all company operations. Mr. Raziano has over 28 years of experience in construction, transmission and distribution, safety-related trades, and Emergency Disaster Situations.
He has earned the credential of CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional) with Transmission & Distribution endorsement. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering and became an instructor in BLS First Aid, CPR & AED, OSHA 502 Outreach Trainer and 10 & 20 Hour T&D endorsement Trainer, Forklift- Aerial Lift, High Angle Climbing & Rescue trainer and a Qualified DOT Drug Screening Administrator. He is also a current member of the World Safety Organization (WSO), the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP), and Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network (USOLN). In 2019 Mr. Raziano was awarded the Safety Professional of the Year Award by North East Region Chesapeake Safety Council.
